Curriculum

The Curriculum of the Undergraduate Management Study Program is developed according to Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 3 of 2020 on National Higher Education Standards (SN-Dikti), Presidential Regulation No. 8 of 2012 on the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia/KKNI), and Guidelines for Higher Education Curriculum Development in the Industry 4.0 Era in Support of the Freedom to Learn - Independent Campus (Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka/MBKM) program issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020.

The curriculum refers to the National Higher Education Standards, which include development of intellectual intelligence, attitudes and values, as well as mastery of knowledge, general skills, and specific skills. In order to attain the desired profile of graduates, this curriculum is categorized into the following groups of courses:

  1. The University Compulsory Student Activity consisting of a religious guidance program that must be attended by all students in fulfilment of the Participation Credit (SKP/Satuan Kredit Partisipasi) requirement in religious guidance at UII.
  2. The Study Program Compulsory and Elective Student Activities, which are co-curricular activities administered by the Management Study Program and must be attended by all students of the Management Study Program of UII's Faculty of Business and Economics. Upon completion of the activities, students will be awarded the Participation Credit, which makes up one of the components listed in the Diploma Supplement (Surat Keterangan Pendamping Ijazah, abbreviated as SKPI).
  3. The Group of University Courses, which consists of relevant courses that characterize the institution in accordance with the vision and mission of Universitas Islam Indonesia.
  4. The Group of Core Courses, which consists of relevant courses to strengthen attitudes, enhance knowledge mastery, and broaden insights into skill competencies for students to work in the community in line with the graduate profile of the Management Study Program.
  5. Group of Supporting Courses, which consists of relevant courses to enhance mastery and broaden insights into work attitudes in line with the norms applicable in the community.
  6. The Group of Humanistic Courses, which consists of relevant courses to broaden insights, and improve understanding and internalization in support of attainment of the predetermined attributes of the graduate profile.
  7. The Group of Technical Courses, which consists of relevant courses to enhance mastery and broaden insights into scientific competencies based on the competitive and comparative advantage of the Study Program administration.
  8. The Group of Characteristic Courses, which consists of relevant courses that characterize the Study Program in its attempt to achieve the expected graduate profile.
  9. The Group of Interest-Based Elective Courses, which consists of courses relevant to the measures to understand and master skills by students in accordance with their respective skill competencies.
