Facilities

Many campus facilities are provisioned to support students in getting the most out of their learning experience in their studies. Classroom

Classrooms provided to support the learning process consist of 46 rooms with an average area of 91 m2 and an average capacity of 58 students. These classrooms are meant for classes of general lectures. Other rooms that may be used for learning include laboratories, the auditorium, and the seminar rooms. All rooms are equipped with computers, LCD displays, LCD projectors, chairs, tables, telephone line, AC, white board, and computer-based smart board in some of them. All such rooms are shared rooms that can be used by other study programs within the Faculty of Business and Economics of UII.

Laboratories

Laboratories provided to support the learning process consist of 6 rooms with an average area of 87 m2 and an average capacity of 43 students. These laboratories are dedicated to learning statistical instruments and ERP-SAP learning. All laboratories are equipped with a computer on each table, LCD displays, LCD projectors, chairs, tables, telephone line, AC, white board, and computer-based smart board. All such laboratories are shared rooms that can be used by other study programs within the Faculty of Business and Economics of UII. Since 2011, the Management Study Program has included ERP in its curriculum, in cooperation with Edugate, which also offers the SAP University Partnership Program. ERP, especially SAP, is a type of software that integrates main business functions of a company to manage its resources. Learning ERP modules is expected to make students to have relevant competencies in the Industry 4.0 revolution we are experiencing now.

Libraries

There are 2 (two) libraries that students can use: the Central Library under the management of the University, and the Library of the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) under the management of the Faculty. The Central Library has a collection of all sciences within UII, be they in print or digital format, while the Library of the Faculty of Business and Economics has a specific collection in the sciences of economics, accounting, business, and management, both in print and digital formats. Both libraries are packed with thousands of reading collections that student can use to widen their horizon. The Library of FBE has an area of around 730 m2 and is equipped with chairs, tables, high-speed computers, LAN and Wi-Fi networks, a reading room, and a discussion room. Students can also access the library's collection from home (off campus) using VPN (Virtual Private Network) via the Library Information System (Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan/SIMPUS) provided by the Information System Department (Badan Sistem Informasi/BSI). Students can access the library’s database and materials from subscription-based knowledge sources (e-resources) such as Sciendirect, Emeral, Taylor & Francis, Sage, ProQuest, EBSCO, and many others.

The Auditorium

The Faculty of Business and Economics has 3 major halls that can also accommodate classes, seminars, workshops, and other similar events. These rooms have an average area of 209 m2 with an average capacity of 110 students. Halls are equipped with chairs, tables, LCD displays, computers, and a podium for panelists. Other than those 3 rooms, there are also other halls under the management of the University that can also be used by any Study Program to support their learning activities. There are also smaller halls for lower capacity events.

Co-Growing Hub

In order to improve learning interactions among students, there also shared rooms that are always open for students to use. These rooms employ the concept of co-working space where students can interact and discuss matters between themselves intensively. These open rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, Wi-Fi network, sofa, green open space, and many others.

Online Studio Room

FBE also has a studio room to facilitate online learning activities, podcast making, or any other talk show activities that are virtual or online in nature. This studio room is equipped with various video shooting apparatus, such as teleprompter, green screen, and the likes.

Student Body Rooms

In order to facilitate the development of their skills, students also have some student organizations that are independently run by them at the faculty level. In order to provide support for these organizations, rooms are provided for student bodies and/or student organizations and these rooms are properly equipped to support such activities.

Student Lounge

FBE UII has a student lounge or canteen run with a concept of semi-industrial theme. This student lounge is equipped with an green open space, artificial pond, tables, chairs, Wi-Fi network, and an open space specifically designed for students’ interaction. There are some tenants that serve food and drinks of numerous variations and tastes. In the student lounge area, there are also some student booths that serve to cater students’ interest in entrepreneurship.

Sports Area

In order to facilitate students with passion in sports, there are many arenas they can use, starting from football field, pitches for volleyball, futsal, badminton, table tennis, tennis, and basketball, to a boxing ring within the UII Integrated Campus. These sports arenas may be indoor (Sports Hall) or outdoor and both types can be used by students/lecturers/staff to do their sport. For those who like jogging, the track around campus is also pretty comfortable to do so. Within the FBE itself, there is a basketball pitch and a fitness center that students can also use.

Green Open Space

UII has been given an award from the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings Network as one of the green campus that is oriented towards environmental protection and sustainability. Within FBE UII, there are some areas of green open space that are merged into shared rooms and/or halls, and students may also use them. Such green open spaces create a sense of comfort for learning and discussion activities among students.

Investment Gallery

The Investment Gallery is a means or laboratory for investment that serves investment necessities and research data related to securities in the stock exchange. The Investment Gallery of FBE UII, in cooperation with CIMB Sekuritas, facilitate students to conduct trade review, research, and transaction on all kinds of securities at the Indonesian Stock Exchange. As the Investment Gallery is connected in real-time to the platforms provided by intermediary securities dealer companies, students can conduct trading and practice making investment in shares, obligations, and other securities directly from campus.

Al Muqtasidin Mosque

Al Muqtasidin Mosque is a mosque located within the campus of FBE UII. Other than a place of worship, the first floor of this mosque also serves as offices for some student bodies and activity units. In terms of missionary activities, the Faculty of Business and Economics has a missionary body at the faculty level known as the Faculty Mission Body (Lembaga Dakwah Fakultas/LDF) of Jamaah Al-Muqtashidin (JAM) that runs various religious studies and activities. Such religious studies and activities are run routinely and are open for all students within FBE UII.

Polyclinic

The Polyclinic of the Faculty of Business and Economics is located at Floor 1 of Al-Muqtashidin Mosque Building. Healthcare and medication services provided in this facility are for all academic members, including students, during office hours. Other than this, students may also use the Polyclinic of Unisia Polifarma located across the Gate of UII Integrated Campus in Jl. Kaliurang Km 14,5 Yogyakarta. This polyclinic has on-duty physicians who are ready to serve from 10.00:12.30 to 18.00:20.00 Western Indonesia Time and from 0274:898421 to XNUMX:XNUMX Western Indonesia Time. UIIPrint

UIIPrint is an information technology based service that allows students, lecturers, and educational staff to print, scan, and photocopy documents themselves. These UIIPrint services are available in all campuses of UII using UII accounts. Users only need to send a document to a shared machine, and they can readily print such document from any machine available in UII campus. Users are required to pay operational costs (ink and paper costs) of such document printing for maintenance of this service.

Single Sign On (SSO)

SSO is a One Account Policy on all service systems that the user (student/lecturer/staff) only need to use one account (an UII account) to access all virtual facilities managed by BSI.

Wi-Fi Network

The Wi-Fi network within UII is available via UIIConnect or Eduroam. This facility is supported by the development of the enterprise-scale IT infrastructure realized with the concept of UIIConnect that up to now has installed more than 700 Access Points in all buildings of UII, with a total bandwidth provided reaching 3.7 Gbps, at access speed of 125 Mbps per user. Students, lecturers, and staff actively working in UII can access UIIConnect using their own UII account. Meanwhile, guests making their visit to UII can also access the Internet via the UIIGuest facility.

UII Gateway

UIIGateway is an integrated information system within UII. UIIGateway covers the information system from many domains in UII, such as academic department, finance, human resources, and many others. UIIGateway is the entry point for everybody in UII to get access to information system services within UII. UIIGateway can be accessed via gateway.uii.ac.id, while the login can be performed using UII SSO login credentials. UIIGateway List of Services: UIIAkademik, UIIRAS, UIIPerkuliahan, UIITagihan, UIIBeasiswa, UIILayanan, UIILapor, UIISKP, UIIPresensi, UIISehat, UIIPPAI, UIISurvey, UIIMBKM, and many others.

UII VPN

UII VPN is a network built to connect remote users to the internal (personal) network belonging to UII. VPN secures personal networks and uses encryption as well as other security mechanism to ensure that only authorized users can access a certain network. This type of network is designed to provide securely encrypted channel to send data between remote users and a network belonging to an organization. With UII VPN, connection will be recognized as a UII internal connection, which means more secure and smoother access to facilities at UII.

UII Email and Other Google Services

Lecturers, students, students, and even alumni will automatically get an email address with their name [email protected] (for students), [email protected] (for staff and lecturers), and [email protected] (for alumni). UII's email currently uses Google's email engine.

Zoom meeting

Zoom is a video conference service based on cloud computing that is available to facilitate online meetings and classes.

Windows, Office 365, and OneDrive Licenses

UII provides Windows and Office 365 licenses for free for all of its academics. Academics of UII who have been given the Office 365 licenses will also get another benefit in the form of OneDrive. OneDrive is a Cloud Storage service from Microsoft that can be used to save data files and share them with other OneDrive users.
