Introduction to the Undergraduate Program in Management

The Undergraduate Program in Management at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universitas Islam Indonesia (FBE UII), offers a student exchange experience that combines academic excellence with Islamic values and various talent-based activities. As one of the oldest programs at UII since 1945, we pioneered Indonesia’s first International Program in 1996, with a curriculum designed to develop intercultural competencies and transformative leadership. This program promotes cross-cultural understanding and global collaboration, providing international students with a rich academic and cultural experience. Located in Yogyakarta, students can take Management and interdisciplinary courses while enjoying a city full of history, culture, and adventure. Further information on course structure and living expenses is available in this booklet.

Jogja, Your Second Home

While Jakarta serves as Indonesia’s capital for government and business, Yogyakarta is the “capital” of education, culture, and arts. With its rich historical heritage, Jogja remains a hub for both classical and contemporary arts.

Life in Jogja is peaceful, enriched with the warmth of Javanese culture. Students can easily find study spaces, gathering spots, and opportunities to attend seminars, festivals, and art performances. Essential facilities such as libraries, bookstores, internet cafés, co-working spaces, and printing centers are widely available.

For leisure, the city offers shopping malls, cinemas, and entertainment venues. No matter where you come from, Jogja will feel like your second home.
