Independent Study (IS) is a lecture that is held separately from regular lectures, both in terms of time, length of lectures, and the methods used. This lecture is taught by a lecturer and followed by a student who meets certain requirements. Students who take IS are not allowed to attend lectures held in the regular semester. IS is held not to improve grades that already meet the minimum requirements.

IS requirements

IS for students with a case of study deadline. Condition:

• – Be in semester 12 without leave
• – Have a maximum of two (2) courses that have never been taken or have been taken with grades does not meet the requirements for graduation

IS for students with a Minimum Grade C case. Requirements:

• Have a maximum of 2 (two) courses that must have a minimum grade of C but have not fulfilled it minimum grade requirement of C.

• – Courses in point 2 have been taken at least 3 (three) times.

In a special condition, IS implementation requirements must be coordinated and approved by the faculty leadership.
